squads

Only the most hardworking and talented players are invited to join our squads! We have strong teams at all ages, so there is real opportunity for exceptional players to keep developing right through to the top level. We have a great track record in the HK Junior Football Leage, HK Junior Sevens Cup, and Addidas Cup, etc. Every year we take teams to overseas tournaments in places such as Singapore, Bangkok, and Borneo. At U13-U18 we also coach the combined KCC / APSS teams in the Henderson League.

GIRLS’ SQUADS

We have a thriving programme for girls, who regularly perform well in competitions in Hong Kong and abroad. Several even play for the HK national side. Although girls are welcome to train with boys and be selected for our main squads at any age, many prefer our weekly girls only training in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. The same commitment from players and parents is needed in the girls´ and boys´ squad programmes.

THE BEST YOU CAN BE

All our squads are for players (and parents) committed to becoming the best footballer that they can be in Hong Kong. We ask for full season commitment, and will not accept children who cannot commit to three terms a year. Likewise, once accepted into our squads we are committed to you for a whole season. Squad players should expect to train at least 2x per week plus regular Saturday matches.

PATH TO SUCCESS

Only about one in ten make the elite squad program – designed to get players performing at the highest level they can. For the most outstanding and ambitious squad players, we offer a realistic path to sporting scholarships or professional sport via our affiliation with Asia Pacific Soccer Academy.

SPONSORSHIP

Private Capital Ltd is the APSS squad sponsor for the 2015-2016 season. Thanks to which the New Balance squad uniforms are subsidised, and additional team coaching costs are covered. We welcome sponsorship offers for our social ventures, community competitions, overseas tours, etc. Sponsorship revenue is used exclusively to reduce costs to players and parents such as tournament / kit costs – it is not revenue for APSS.
